Layne Keck is the owner of Capstone Hypnotherapy where he sees clients in private sessions. He is also the owner and instructor of The Capstone Institute of Hypnotherapy, licensed by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education where he teaches students who wish to become Hypnotists in Las Vegas.
Layne graduated from the University of Southern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He began his studies in hypnotherapy in 1979 and has been a practicing Hypnotherapist since 1984. He has not only learned hypnotherapy from the academic standpoint, but began his studies as a result of dramatic changes in his health, finances, relationships and outlook of life, from his own experiences with hypnotherapy as a client. Layne's most influential teacher has been his Hypnotherapist, Helen Baucum, who was recognized as "Woman of the Century", by The International Hypnosis Hall of Fame. He worked and taught in her office for twenty-one years.
Layne served as "Executive Director" of the National Society of Hypnotherapists from 1992 until 2006 and was responsible for their yearly national convention. He is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, and because they are at the forefront in providing information and support through training and continuing education to their members, he is proud to have them be the certifying professional organization for the graduates of his school. He has also taught classes at community college, been a guest lecturer at colleges, high schools, and many civic organizations. Layne has taught stress management classes for Human Resources at major Las Vegas Hotels, lectured at National Conventions across the country, and been called to court to testify as an expert witness. He has been featured on the Discovery Channel and the BBC in documentaries concerning the restoration of memory loss and has also been interviewed countless times on radio and television. Layne was inducted into the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame in 2001 which chooses its inductees from the span of recorded hypnosis to the present and bases its presentation on one's contribution to the field of hypnosis.
Layne Keck practices and teaches the "Pinpoint" method of Hypnotherapy, enabling student and client alike to discover the "Root Cause" and compounded patterns of the subconscious emotional block(s), to allow a much more efficient path to goal success.
